The pebbles of Capucine: from control to rediscovering feelings

Capucine, ten years old, was referred to family therapy because she had developed obsessive traits & rituals. Following the first meeting with their family therapist they sought a consultation with Prof. Maurizio Andolfi in Angers, France. The main goal of this session was to reframe Capucine’s symptoms into the key to access family history and as a way to encourage showing feelings in the family. A follow-up session with Capucine five years later outlines symptoms resolution and family transformation.
