Agathe, 18 years old, is hospitalized several times in the Institute because she has developed self-destructive behaviors such as scarification, eating disorders, alcohol abuse and suicide attempts. After two years, a consultation with Maurizio Andolfi in Paris is requested. The purpose of the consultancy is to understand the meaning of the violence that Agathe acts against herself by analyzing its transgenerational transmission within her family. Through a therapeutic journey at the Pin en Mages Institute, followed by the therapist Dominique Bardou, and zoom meetings with Maurizio Andolfi aimed at reactivating internal and external resources to the family, it was possible to help Agathe return to her life. In a follow-up session organized in Rome when Agathe was 23, the resolution of the symptoms and the changes that occurred within her family were highlighted.
