He describes his shift from individual therapy for problematic children to working with the entire family and he explains how to engage actively fathers and siblings in session. Then, according his method, Andolfi includes another generation (grandparents and extended family) in his observation of family history and child\u2019s presenting problem. The therapist\u2019s main tools are relational questioning, metaphorical objects, family genograms, as well as family tasks and contracts.
